“Customer” means the person who purchases fruit using their login.
“The Beeks” means The Beeks Ltd and its web store www.beeksbox.com
“GST” means Goods & Services Tax chargeable in accordance with the Goods & Services Tax Act 1985
“Login” means a Customer’s personal email address and password used to access www.beeksbox.com
“Fruit” means products for sale on www.beeksbox.com
By using The Beeks you agree that you have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions. All fruit and other products supplied by The Beeks will be in accordance with these terms and conditions and The Beeks has the right to change these terms and conditions at their discretion.
The Beeks has the discretion to decline any order placed or cancel any order for any reason. Customers are liable for every order made under their login.
The Beeks takes steps to ensure the information provided on its website is correct, however there is no warranty in this regard and The Beeks will not be liable for any error or omission.
All photos show a representation of appearance of the product, but there is likely to be variations within a variety.
The Customer will pay The Beeks for the fruit ordered at the price displayed on the website at the time the order is submitted together with all shipping costs.
Shipping costs are determined by location. For rural areas there will be an additional cost of $5.00. Shipping costs are charged per box of fruit ordered.
In the event the Customer has selected an incorrect shipping option, The Beeks reserves the right to refuse or cancel the order, or to charge for any additional shipping costs. The Customer will be notified if there is any additional delivery charge for their order.
The prices of fruit and shipping costs are in New Zealand currency and are inclusive of GST.
Only in the case The Beeks is unable to supply the fruit ordered, The Beeks will refund the Customer’s payment.
3. Product Description
The Beeks sells all their produce per kilo units, and The Beeks will always commit to provide the advertised weight as the minimum weight packed and dispatched. If a number of fruits is listed, this will only ever serve as an indication or estimate for marketing purposes. The Beeks endeavours to pack the indicated amounts, but reserves the right to deviate from such indications.
4. Product Quality
The Customer acknowledges The Beeks is selling perishable goods. The Beeks will, at its discretion, replace any damaged fruit or provide a credit provided the Customer lets The Beeks know within 24 hours of receiving the damaged fruit. If requested by The Beeks the Customer needs to provide a photo of damaged fruit before any credit or replacement.
The Beeks will not be liable for damage to fruit as a result of it being incorrectly stored or handled after delivery.
Customers must pay for the fruit purchased either by internet banking or by credit card before their order will be dispatched.
The Customer is liable for all costs associated with debt collection.
The Beeks does not keep on record any Customer’s credit card details.
The Beeks use Paypal for processing all debit card and credit card transactions securely.
6. Dispatch & delivery
The Beeks reserves the right to withhold delivery of any product for any reason whatsoever.
The Beeks guarantees to dispatch on Mondays and Thursdays. Orders received after 7am on Monday or Thursday will be processed the next dispatch day.
The Beeks have outsourced deliveries to CourierPost, division of NZ Post.
The Beeks will only send the Customer their CourierPost tracking number on request.
The Beeks endeavours to dispatch all orders within six working days. In case the Customer has not received an order within seven days of having placed the order, they are required to contact The Beeks. In the event the Customer receives an incorrect order the Customer is required to notify The Beeks within 24 hours of receipt and failure to do so will deem acceptance of the fruit delivered by The Beeks. If the Customer contacts The Beeks within 24 hours The Beeks will arrange for replacement of the correct fruit if it is available.
Deliveries will be made to the address and location the customer has identified on the order and once left at the specified address the fruit will be deemed to be delivered.
The Customer will ensure The Beeks or its agent is able to deliver where instructed by the Customer.
7. Communication channels
The Beeks uses many different platforms for marketing purposes, however in case the Customer needs to talk to The Beeks in regards to an existing order The Beeks only accepts emails (reply to the order confirmation) or through the contact form on www.beeksbox.com/contact/ .
The Beeks will not ever use Facebook or Instagram to communicate about any existing customer queries.
8. Liability, Product Liability & Liability of The Beeks Ltd
The Beeks is not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising directly or indirectly from any fruit. The Beeks is not liable for any consequential injury or loss of any kind arising from the Customer’s use of The Beeks or the delivery or failure to deliver fruit.
The Customer agrees to indemnify The Beeks against all liabilities, losses, claims and expenses arising directly or indirectly out of the Customer’s use of the Beeksbox.com site or delivery or failure to deliver any product.
These cookies are used to collect information about how visitors use our site. We use the information to compile reports and to help us improve the site. The cookies collect information in an anonymous form, including the number of visitors to the site, where the visitors have come to the site from and the pages they visited.
If the customer is not completely satisfied with the quality of The Beeks’ fruit after delivery, The Beeks Ltd will provide a replacement or a credit.
The Beeks does not refund if the Customer changes their mind.
